Meet BISEJTEN

This site is headquartered in the traditional lands of the W̱SANEĆ people. I am personally tied to these lands by the SENĆOŦEN name that I carry thanks to the grace of my SIÁM SĆÁĆE (highly respected friend) and elder KÁNTENOT.

I use some of the SENĆOŦEN language within the site as part of acknowledging the lands and people that I have come to love deeply. EWES W̱ILṈEW̱ SEN (I am not an Indigenous person) but I find myself more at home among the W̱SÁNEĆ communities than anywhere else. I raise my hands to my W̱SÁNEĆ SĆÁLEĆE (friends and relations) in thanks for their love and acceptance.
